Please be aware of toner scams in your office and educate new employees about these types of frauds. If you suspect your office was the target of a toner scam, please contact ASU-Canon.
Scammers will call and asks for your device's model and serial number then tell you that your device is low on toner. They may pretend to be ASU-Canon staff and insist that you place an order with them. They will then deliver toner to your office, but bill you for an exorbitant price.
Legitimate ASU-Canon staff will NEVER call you and ask for a device's serial number, model, and bill you for supplies. Most devices that are part of our program are toner and service inclusive. Meaning that as part of your lease, toner and service calls are included at no extra cost.
When your device is running low on supplies or you need to place a service call, please contact us directly. You can do this by calling the Canon help desk at 480-965-COPY(2679) and selecting option #2. It is okay to give the Canon employee your device's serial number at this time so they can track your device's status. You can also make these requests directly through our website by visiting Device Service and Supplies.
